Do Fair Work laws apply to offshore workers?
No. Offshore workers based in the Philippines are employed under Philippine labour law, not the Fair Work Act 2009. This means Australian Awards, like SCHADS, do not apply to them.
Who is the employer of the record?
Talent Hub Australia manages the employment relationship with your offshore team members. You engage us as a service provider — not as a direct employer — which reduces your compliance burden significantly.
What about NDIS screening?
Offshore staff who do not provide direct support to participants are generally not required to hold NDIS Worker Screening clearances. However, we recommend a risk-based approach and can advise based on your specific roles.
Are there any tax or super obligations for you?
